Stranger Wine Company is dedicated to crafting small batch, minimal intervention wines that showcase the beauty of Michigan grown vinifera. As part of our commitment to highlighting the unique terroir of our region, we (mostly) produce single varietal, single vineyard wines. We embrace native fermentation and allow the wines to develop naturally without interventions such as fining or filtering. Throughout aging, our wines rest on their lees to reduce sulfur use and enhance mid-palate structure. With the exception of some of our 0/0 projects, we use minimal Sulfur (less than 30 ppm) at bottling.
